The 1-Year MBA is a 13 course (37 credit hours) program consisting of 11 courses (31 credits hours) in core MBA courses plus 6 credits in Saturday Seminars and Experiential Learning opportunities. Students enter the program in late August and graduate the following July.
3 Credit Hours. The 1-Year MBA program includes a series of Saturday Seminars that provide students with opportunities for strategic skills development, including:
- Effective Business Communication
- Managing in a Diverse Environment
- Global Leadership Development
3 Credit Hours. Every student has the opportunity to explore a global business topic through a Walker Global Hybrid Course or thesis work. Students may also elect to put their education to work through an internship for credit or select one of two globally focused courses: International Business or Cross-Cultural Management.
Applicants must possess an earned Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a grade of B or better. In addition, English language proficiency must be documented.
Prerequisite Coursework and Tuition
Prerequisites may be needed, but can be met through completion (grade of B or better) of recent courses in Business, Accounting Theory and Practice, and Current Economic Analysis, or approved equivalents. Any required prerequisites should be completed prior to starting the 1-Year MBA and tuition is charged separately from the program fee. The program fee for the 1-Year MBA is CHF 40,000.
