Study Trip

Experience international relations first hand

Deepen your knowledge of international relations and meet with people working in the field by participating in study trips to countries throughout the world.

Organized by undergraduate and graduate students, these annual trips particularly focus on migration, refugee, and humanitarian issues. They offer you a direct look at the political, social, and economic structure and conditions in the countries visited. You will meet with a wide range of people, such as government officials, policy-makers, diplomats, academics, and refugees. The trips also add a unique historic and cultural dimension to the course material.

The study trips have proven to be very valuable learning experiences. Some students have participated in as many as four study trips during their undergraduate and graduate studies.

Past study trips have visited countries in Africa, Asia, Central and Western Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Oceania.
