Donor Recognition

Daniel Webster Society LogoThe Webster Society, previously named Daniel Webster Society, was founded in 1986 by a group of dedicated University supporters in the tradition of leadership immortalized by the American statesman Daniel Webster and is embraced by Webster University.  The Society, under the leadership of its Board of Directors, encourages and recognizes charitable giving for the benefit of Webster University from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations.  The different levels of giving are as follows:

  • Leadership Circle (CHF 25,000+)
  • Trustee Circle (CHF 10,000-24,999)
  • Summa Cum Laude (CHF 5,000-9,999)
  • Magna Cum Laude (CHF 2,500-4,999)
  • Cum Laude (CHF 1,300-2,499)

With the agreement of the donor, Webster Society gifts are recognized: a plaque is placed on our donor wall and donors are invited to an annual Webster Society dinner in their honor where they are presented with an opportunity to meet some scholarship students.  All donations of CHF 1,299 or below are categorized as Webster Associate Circle level donations.

Our youth of today deserve a role in shaping their own future;  a future in which they will have to work and live.  Those of us who have within our power the means to make other people’s dreams come true, can lay the foundations necessary for their future success.
