One of the most valuable gifts is an ‘unrestricted’ donation, which enables Webster to address our areas of greatest need.
Annual/General Scholarship Program
Giving to a scholarship fund makes an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of deserving individuals and their families who struggle to meet the rising cost of educational expenses.
While Webster University strives to moderate increases in tuition, families and students often find a need to turn to scholarships to make college attendance possible. Without the generous financial support of scholarship donors, many students would not have access to the quality education provided by Webster University and the opportunities that accrue from it.
You can help a talented student have access to a Webster education by establishing a scholarship or donating to an existing scholarship today. To learn more about funding a scholarship, please contact us.
Research Grant Program
Webster University Geneva has formulated a research grants program in support of the new research initiative geared towards obtaining Swiss Accreditation and creating a more supportive environment for research endeavors at Webster University, Geneva. There are no limitations on the disciplinary background of the investigator, and the proposed research may address any topic within the disciplinary background of the researcher. Interdisciplinary efforts are welcome, as well as projects that help promote student involvement in university sponsored research. If you are interested in financially supporting a researcher, perhaps on a topic of interest or one which would support the activities of your company, please contact us.
Scholars Program recognizing academic excellence
The purpose of the Geneva Scholars Program is to recognize, support and develop academic excellence and performance in the undergraduate student body at Webster University, Geneva. This is accomplished through providing cohorts of Scholars students with opportunities for special programs and activities throughout their three or four years at Webster. These include first and second-year multidisciplinary seminars, the opportunity to develop and complete an undergraduate thesis or major undergraduate research project (depending on departmental major), and the chance to participate in European Scholars Symposia, hosted at various Webster campuses. The vision is for Webster Geneva to annually publish a portfolio of all theses and special projects completed. Two seminars and the thesis/project are required in order to complete the Scholars Program. The Scholars Program Steering Committee will lead and organize the overall program direction and develop special optional lectures and events that supplement the program. To learn more about funding the Scholars Program and thus extending the program to a wider group of students, please contact us.
Frequently established in memory of a loved one, endowments are special funds set up with an initial monetary gift for a specific purpose. This type of perpetural support is an excellent way to help build the future while creating a lasting tribute. The funds are carefully managed to protect the original value of the endowment capital. Only the annual income is used to support the indicated purpose, which may include scholarships, prizes, staff positions, special community events, and activities.
A wide range of naming opportunities for buildings, laboratories, commons rooms, and other outdoor structures are available. This demonstrates the loyalty and commitment of the supporter, and leaves a long-lasting impression and sense of pride.
