"Career Services was always there to help me steer my academic and professional life throughout my studies at Webster University; from helping me to prepare a CV, to finding internships, as well helping me shape my thoughts for graduate school applications. "As part of WUG's pragmatic approach to learning, Career Services provides professional guidance to students in search of internships, jobs or short-term assignments in companies. Apart from their steadfast assistance to students in writing their resumés and cover letters, Career Services actively organizes engaging conferences and networking sessions so that students can get a glimpse of what the professional world looks like. Above all else, they help students to answer the fundamental question: What career are you passionate about?"

Obed Pantoja

"Career Services at Webster University not only helps students build their resumés and help you prepare for interviews (mock interviews and company research), they also actively look for placement opportunities for their students and regularly invite alumni and experienced professionals in job forums where students can learn about the "professional world" and can ask questions freely in a very open setting. In my 3 years at Webster University, I was able, through the Career Services, to get various job offers from Fortune 500 companies (such as Thomson Reuters) to small sized private wealth management firms in Geneva."

Niraj Pabari
BSc in Finance, BA in International Relations, May 2010

"Through Career Services I was able to apply for an internship opening at the UNHCR. My internship was an invaluable experience. It helped me to fully understand the nature of UN organizations, have first hand experience communicating with international diplomats and gain access to conferences regarding global events. Additionally, I had the opportunity to meet policy leaders, diplomats and delegates. Sitting in on meetings with high-profile delegates and listen first hand to their deep concerns and solutions regarding global issues inspired me further. UNHCR work experience is one that will benefit me years to come in my international relations field."
