Internships

The Career Services Office helps all students in their search and application for internships. For internships for credit, students need to obtain prior approval from the Head of the Department. Internships provide not only valuable experience but also insight into the kinds of careers or organizations that are right for you.

In addition to the above we provide the following service: Undergraduate students with at least 80 credit hours and a GPA of 3.0 or higher and graduate students with at least 2 terms completed and a GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to join Webster’s Internship Program. Membership in this program entitles you to receive postings for any internship received by Webster. You decide if you would like to apply or not for a specific posting. Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher may join Webster’s Honors Internship Program. When an Honors Intern applies for an internship, Career Services will highlight their application to the organization providing the internship. Internships may be awarded academic credit; contact your Department Chair for details.

Career Services has created relationships with organizations in the Geneva community to uncover internship and job opportunities for Webster students. While we do not place students in jobs or internships, we work hard to bring many opportunities to you.
