August

Week 1 BBQ – The Week 1 Welcome Back BBQ, organized by the Student Government Association (SGA) takes place the week after orientation in order to give new students and returning students the opportunity to spend time together and create new friendships in a fun-filled environment with good food, music, and activities.

September

ESCA Dragon Boat Races – The English Speaking Cancer Association (ESCA) dragon boat race is Webster Geneva’s main volunteering event of the year. A group of Webster student, faculty and staff travel to the Lac de Joux region and serve as ESCA’s volunteer force for their annual fundraising festival. Participants have the opportunity to take part by volunteering in logistics as well as being given the opportunity to paddle in the races.

October

Halloween Party – The Halloween Party is the first official party of the year, organized by the SGA. Members of the Webster Geneva community are encouraged to dress up and join the Halloween celebration off-campus, with the night ending in a Halloween Costume Contest.

Webster Model United Nations - Annual conference held at Webster Vienna where students take part in a simulation and learn about diplomacy, international relations and international organizations.

November

Global Thanksgiving – Global Thanksgiving is the time of year when students, faculty and staff prepare traditional dishes from their countries to share with the Webster community. This allows students to get to know each other and explore foods of different cultures in Webster’s multi-cultural atmosphere.

Trivia Night - Organized by the Webster Humanitarian Association (WHA), Trivia Night is a fun-filled evening where teams of student, faculty and staff as well as members of the local community to come together for a friendly competition in ten trivia categories. Participants also have the opportunity to win raffle prizes with all of the proceeds from the event given to the charity of choice.

January

Zermatt Ski Trip – The yearly ski trip to Zermatt is a Student Affairs organized weekend where a group of students go to Zermatt alpine resort to enjoy a weekend away. They have the opportunity to partake in various activities including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating as well as an option to visit a local spa.

February

Delegates Agenda - Delegates Agenda is an SGA forum in which students present to the administration the top 5 issues or areas that need improvement at Webster Geneva. The administration then choses 3 of those 5 topics to present back to the SGA and improve on.

Webster’s Got Talent Geneva – Webster’s Got Talent is a talent show and competition that takes place every year. The show normally includes performances by singers, comedians, dancers and other very talented individuals for a night of fun and excitement. Open to all students on the Webster Geneva campus, the top two winners of the night will have to opportunity to continue on to compete in the Webster’s Got Talent Europe.

March/April

Easter Egg Hunt – A student organized community event on the Webster Geneva campus. It is for family and friends filled with games, face painting, bouncing castles, and a scavenger egg hunt for children from 3-13 years.

Football Tournament – The Football tournament is a competition between all football teams from various Webster Campuses in Europe. Comprised of multiple qualifying rounds in one day, each team has the chance to emerge a new champion.  

Webster’s Got Talent Europe – Webster Got Talent Europe is the Talent show in which all European Campuses send the winners of their own shows in order to compete for the number one spot.
