Our MA in Counseling program prepares you for a wide range of careers, both in and out of the mental health field. The broad yet integrated approach exposes you to a variety of counselling models and techniques that will enhance your skills for working with people in many different contexts.
Many of our graduates have set up their own private practice in diverse fields, including childhood, adult, family, couples, special needs, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and career counseling. Others have found rewarding counseling positions in international and other organizations.
The program also complements the skill set of people working or interested in the areas of HR, health, education, development, and humanitarian aid. A number of graduates with a business background have also used their counseling skills to offer services to the corporate world.
