Ron Daniel, Academic Director of Webster University Geneva, is pleased to announce that Dr. Oreste Foppiani, IR Department, has been appointed Visiting Research Fellow at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) for the Academic Year 2012-2013 (www.ehess.fr).

According to Daniel, “Dr. Foppiani, will conduct an innovative project based on the records of the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Defense to conduct research on illegal immigration in the Mediterranean Sea and give a lecture on his findings at the end of his period as Chercheur invité at the Parisian institute, which is, together with Science Po, one of the top institutes of higher learning and independent, scholarly research in Europe.”
