Communication regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19 Announcement (updated March 19):   Webster University Geneva

The safety and well-being of our community is our highest priority and we are continuing to monitor the situation closely and follow the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) as well as the Canton of Geneva.

Webster University Geneva moved all classes online starting Monday March 16th and courses will remain online through the end of the semester.  The plan aligns with Webster University’s policy and measures for maintaining educational continuity.

Following the Swiss and Geneva Cantonal protocols for COVID-19 and our move to online course delivery, campus services will operate virtually. While our library, cafeteria and computer labs are closed, our staff and faculty are working from home to continue delivering online courses and to support our students and applicants to the university.  The University's Admissions, Academic Advising, Business Office, and Registrar will remain available.  Our Career Services and Library teams will also provide student support remotely.

While our university intends to limit on-campus presence as much as possible, for any specific activities that may still require on-campus support (such as payments by credit card, textbook pick-ups), please request an appointment by email to the relevant office contact.  For a bookstore visit or textbook information, please reach Mr. Hove at  +41 22 959 8015.

For more urgent requests, phone lines on campus have been redirected to the appropriate staff mobile numbers.

• If you have any questions about WebEx access or access to your courses, please send a message to online@webster.ch

• All on-campus events for March and April (internal and external) have been either postponed or cancelled until further notice.

• All visitors to campus and housing must fill a “visitors self-declaration form”
