Giving
"If you have much, give of your wealth; If you have little, give of your heart”. Arab Proverb
As a private, non-profit, non-commercial foundation, Webster University, Geneva finances its operations solely through student tuition and receives no government financial support. By contributing to the ongoing development of Webster University, Geneva, parents, alumni, businesses and the local community can invest in future generations of leaders, thinkers and decision-makers. At whatever level you choose to support Webster, your generosity is sincerely appreciated — now and in the future.
There are many ways of contributing to the development of Webster University, Geneva. Below you find some information about the different ways you can support your Alma Mater and the Alumni Association.
Scholarships - Partners in Education Program
Webster University Geneva's Partners in Education Program has been changing lives for more than a decade. It enables gifted students, who otherwise could not afford a private American education, to complete their academic studies by providing them with the needed financial resources. More
Internships
A key element of Webster’s educational approach is our emphasis on practical experience. Local businesses and organizations can help with this by offering internship positions, where students work part-time for a set period and receive supervised practical training in their field.
The benefits work both ways: Students receive invaluable experience and sometimes essential financial support for their studies, while bringing the latest innovations and theory to their employer. More
Donations
- Unrestricted Funds: One of the most valuable gifts is an ‘unrestricted’ donation, which enables us to address our areas of greatest need. More...
- Corporate Donations: The generous support provided by companies to our Corporate Associates Program provides funds for a variety of essential projects and services. More...
- Endowments: Frequently established in memory of a loved one, endowments are special funds set up with an initial monetary gift for a specific purpose. This type of perpetual support is an excellent way to help build the future while creating a lasting tribute. The funds are carefully managed to protect the original value of the endowment capital. Only the annual income is used to support the indicated purpose, which may include scholarships, prizes, staff positions, special community events, and activities.
- Gifts-in-kind: Help enhance our facilities and equipment by providing, for instance, furniture, computers, books, technical equipment, etc.
Naming Opportunities
A wide range of naming opportunities for buildings, laboratories, commons rooms, and other outdoor structures are available. This demonstrates the loyalty and commitment of the supporter, and leaves a long-lasting impression and sense of pride.
Sponsor an Alumni Event
Throughout the year, the Alumni Association organizes numerous events. Make it YOUR event and address the exclusive target group of over 3,200 Webster alumni and about 600 Webster students. More on Alumni Events...
However you choose to support Webster University Geneva, and at whatever level, your generosity is sincerely appreciated - now and in the future. Please contact us to discuss specific ideas and project proposals that will meet your needs.
