Claude Chaudet obtained his PhD in 2004 from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Lyon, France and was an Associate Professor at Telecom ParisTech, Paris, France between 2005 and 2015. He joined Webster University Geneva in 2016 as the head of computer science and mathematics. His research interests orbit around the use of digital technologies to tackle the challenges of modern society, such as improving medical research and healthcare by increasing data privacy, or fostering sustainable development by making cities, buildings and IT systems energy-aware. His activities span from cybersecurity and data privacy to distributed algorithms and networking aspects.
