POSITION OVERVIEW
The Psychology and Professional Counseling department is hiring an adjunct professor
(part-time fixed duration contract, renewable) with a strong clinical background to
teach graduate level courses, in our Master in Professional Counseling program.
The course “assessment” examines various methods for assessing the functioning of
individuals, couples, groups and families and the use of assessment tools in diagnosis
and treatment. The course “internship” provides guidance and support to students actively
involved in their practicum.
Successful applicants will have the responsibility of building the course from a pre-existing
matrix and delivering the content to a class of master’s students. The applicants
should also be able to give students insight on how to integrate theory and practice.
Small group experiential work and integration of theory and practice are crucial components
of this course.
Moreover, the professor will need to have a strong interest in student success and
a commitment to quality teaching, and will also have an interest in working with
students from diverse backgrounds with a commitment to inclusiveness.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Terminal degree in Psychotherapy, Psychology Counseling or Clinical Psychology
(or master’s level training with 10 years clinical experience)
2. At least 5 years of clinical experience
3. Fluent English

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Academic Advisor has extensive knowledge of Webster Geneva academic degrees and
programs and aims to assist student advisees in developing their career and educational
goals. Through regular face-to-face meetings and ongoing communication with students,
the Advisor creates a personalized educational experience and empowers students to
explore and achieve their personal, academic and professional goals. Specifically,
the Advisor discusses course options and degree requirements with student advisees
and guides students in the course selection and registration process to ensure progress
toward graduation. The Advisor seeks to ensure academic quality in students’ work,
overall student success and student retention.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Initiate contact with student advisees and assist them in establishing a course
plan based on their program of study.
o Continue to meet with advisees prior to every term until graduation to discuss course
registration and check adherence to degree requirements; make adjustments as necessary
based on any changes in degree program.
o Help students articulate and pursue their personal and professional objectives.
o Promote a culture of academic excellence and commitment to academic achievement.
o Acquire knowledge across all disciplines to provide students with accurate information
about academic programs and degree requirements.
o Ensure updated student data for Registrar and program heads.
o Review incoming data to help create more responsive processes and data-driven decision
making.
o Understand, implement and communicate undergraduate academic and programmatic policies
and procedures.
o Assist students in overcoming educational concerns and highlight educational opportunities.
o Review transfer credits; monitor student progress toward degree and provide relevant
support.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Master’s degree.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Career Services Coordinator prepares students for and supports students in their
transition into the job market, either for a position of permanent employment or for
placement in an internship. The Coordinator encourages the development of students’
ability to undertake the steps necessary to seek and apply for professional employment.
Well-connected with the local community, the Career Services Coordinator also focuses
on creating new partnerships and maintaining ongoing relationships with local employers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide strategic recommendations and develop action plans for expanding Career
Services partnerships/services.
o Manage professional networks to enhance internship and work opportunities for students.
o Conduct market/benchmark research; set and monitor KPIs.
o Develop and produce all printed and digital promotional and communications materials.
o Provide professional coaching to all students, including graduate, undergraduate
and recently graduated alumni (up to six months post-graduation).
o Deliver internal communications content; manage website and external relationships
with local employers.
o Conceptualize and implement four career-related events per year, including career
fairs, mixers, speed interviews, conferences, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Master’s degree, preferably in Business Management.
o Ten years’ experience in the recruitment industry.
o Knowledge of different higher education systems (U.S., Swiss, European) and current
trends in higher education.
o Experience in administrative support and project management.
o Ability to drive both online and face-to-face communication initiatives.
o Demonstrated success in both placement and outplacement services.
o Accurate and discrete use of all students’ personal information.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Events Coordinator/Student Services Officer plans, manages and oversees the execution
of Webster-sponsored events on campus, as well as supports the Student Services Manager
to whom she or he reports. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience
in the preparation and management of events and activities, including the coordination
of efforts among all partners (internal and external). She or he will assess the success
of events and activities and analyze any gaps between predicted outcomes and actual
outcomes. She or he will also innovate and collaborate effectively with colleagues,
reach out to new partners. She or he will interact closely with students, the local
community and any partnering entities or organizations, maintaining ultimate responsibility
for the success of Webster-sponsored events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Oversee planning, logistics (including invitations, digital marketing and outreach),
and coordination of Webster- sponsored events.
o Ensure and promote adherence to all relevant protocols and processes and improve
upon them, as necessary, to meet the needs and constraints of internal clients and
institutional objectives.
o Work closely with academic, admissions, career services, alumni, facilities and
marketing departments to ensure a comprehensive approach and the highest possible
level of success for each event.
o Maintain efficient and reliable relationships with faculty, staff and students,
responding directly and effectively to the needs and expectations of all parties.
o Review activity and performance monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Management.
o Five years’ experience in the hospitality, event planning or media industry.
o Demonstrated excellence in event planning and/or activities organization.
o Experience in driving project management, including online and face-to-face communication
initiatives.
