Admissions Director Appointed

William McDonald

Webster Geneva Campus is pleased to announce the appointment of William (Will) McDonald as Admissions and Enrollment Director.

Will received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo, and pursued a Master of Science in the Counsellor Education Program at Marywood University in Pennsylvania. While at Marywood University, Will began working in admissions, and has remained in the world of higher education throughout his career. His diverse roles included recruitment, academic program management, department leadership and managing international partnerships.

Notably, in the early 2000s, Will moved up the ranks at Temple University, culminating in his appointment as Director, Graduate Enrolment Management. In 2008, he moved to Geneva to represent Thunderbird School of Global Management and led its Executive MBA in Europe. Most recently, he worked at the Graduate Institute where he held the position of Director of Outreach for Executive Education and earned an Executive Certificate in Advocacy in International Affairs.

At Webster Geneva Campus, Will will lead the Recruitment and Admissions team. His primary focus will be on growing quality enrollment for both the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. He intends to develop new strategies and tactics that will further help to position the Geneva campus as a premier educational destination.

When not meeting with student prospects, Will is both an avid runner and a self-professed international “foodie.” He enjoys reading historical fiction and is new to yoga. Will lives in Geneva with his husband and they have extended family in the U.S. and Brazil.
