Italian Navy Admiral to Teach International Security

Issues in International Security

To launch our Graduate Certificate in International and Regional Security, Webster Geneva Campus is proud to welcome guest professor Giuseppe De Giorgi,  a former Italian Navy Admiral and leader of the MARE NOSTRUM operation, which responded to the migration crisis near Lampedusa, Italy. An interview with Admiral De Giorgi was recently featured in the United Nations’ magazine UN Special (read here)

De Giorgi will teach a graduate course on International Security. The course, to be offered on eight Tuesday evenings beginning in mid-January, is available for audit (non-credit, with a Certificate of Completion) or as a first graduate-level experience, earning credit towards a Graduate Certificate or Master’s degree. The course will begin weekly at 18:30 on the Webster Geneva campus (adjacent to the Genthod-Bellevue train station, 6 minutes from Gare Cornavin and Sécheron stations).
