Undergraduate AdmissionsEach year, dozens of students transfer to Webster University Geneva from Swiss universities and from other institutions around the globe.  Some are looking for smaller class sizes and a more personal experience, while others are choosing Webster because of our academic programs and the potential internship and career opportunities in Switzerland.

Whether you've had a challenging university experience, or simply wish to change your major or location of study, transferring institutions allows you to reboot or accelerate your university career, often with advanced standing due to transfer credits--and the chance to begin with a fresh Grade Point Average.

We recognize transfer credits from accredited institutions (from the EU, US or other universities) and some applicants also earn credits for their IB, A-levels, or AP subjects from secondary school, all of which reduces the time to complete the bachelor program.

Webster University publishes a list of recognized international transfer credit systems online.  Students who have had prior learning that is not from an institutionally accredited university (ie, fully recognized by a national ministry or national department of education) may have the possibility to pursue CLEP examinations in relevant subject areas, to validate prior learning.  CLEP credits are also listed on the aforementioned website.

Webster courses are offered in both half-semester (8-week) and full-semester (16-week) courses, and we have a summer term as well.  So we offer five different entry dates throughout the year for transfers into our bachelor program.

Our admissions team in Geneva will work with you to finalize the admissions process.  As you apply, we can estimate your academic eligibility (number of transfer credits, how they apply toward the American system and the predicted length of study at Webster) as well as inform you of all direct and indirect costs.  We work with academic advisors to ensure that you will reach your full academic potential at Webster Geneva.
